Why shouldn't she? We encourage people to speak out because it (should) help with awareness and empathy. By speaking out about her struggles of motherhood, or of her miscarriage, she's bringing to light that such issues can affect anyone, and such articles can help people understand the pain involved in such a loss but also help those that have suffered it feel less alone.
By making out that she's being 'theatrical' in talking about her trauma, you're invalidating it, you're making light of it.
