I also don't get the Meghan/Diana comparisons

Diana was a 18 year old child with no life experience whose husband was having an affair from the off

Meghan was a mid 30s woman with life experience and a supportive loving husband

Two completely different scenarios.

The comparison is both had problems with mental health and were not supported or helped by the Palace. It's the same thing Age doesn't really come into play with mental health, you can develop problems at any time.

It was different in that she has her husbands support though? so she was not struggling along by herself

Exactly.
Who you fall in love with and want to share your life with is all that should matter.

They gave it a shot to be part of the Royal set up.
A rigid cold set up, which has seen 3 of the Queen's childrens marriages end in divorces.

They found nothing really changed even decades after his own Mother's tragedy.
How this is only Prince Harry's or Meghan's fault is beyond me.

As I said I'll wait to see the whole context of all they say in this interview.
However how it's Prince Harry's fault for him falling in love with her and her him.
Is beyond me completely.

I guess anything to possibly just hammer only them on though is par for the course.

I haven't seen the programme but he says he wants to heal the rift? how is that possible now?
I don't understand the first point you made really tbh, Harry shouldn't have married the person he loved due to who he is or who is family is?

It doesnt even come across as if theres as big a rift as the media would have people believe, I mean Harry has already mentioned that both he and Meghan speak to his grandparents almost daily.

No I meant he should have steered clear of bringing her into that environment

and I meant the rift with Charles and William

Everyone at some point in their lives suffers from mental health issues I think we can all agree about that and I am sure this laundering of dirty washing for profit will have a detrimental effect on the Queen's

sadly

I guess though when you are struggling it doesn't matter. Look at the number of people who have took their own lives many had loving families but felt they couldn't cope. Thankfully, I've never been in that dark of a place but people who seemingly have everything feel they have very little when they are having MH problems.. It does sound like Harry helped her through it.

Harry didn’t know how his family were going to treat her

What are these ridiculous suggestions you’re making

He probably wanted things to work though more than likely to stop any problems/rifts with his family, it's the treatment of his wife from both his family and media (that also reminded him of his mother being treated the same way) as well as his own mental health suffering due to it that finally made him walk away.

They left after realising they would not get help after asking for it. They had no intention of leaving the family and had they received the help they needed they would still be working royals.

It’s not something that can be decided on a whim Cherie, surely you know that. He was a senior royal, he couldn’t just walk away from the off.

It’s such a shame really, Harry and Meghan were the role models that the royal family really needed, I’ve always been of the opinion that whilst I don’t actively adore the royal family, I liked them and what they brought to the country, that is no more, and they’re going to find a lot of other people in the same position.

I only cared about the Queen and Beatrice and Eugenie and that wont change couldn't care about the others and the Queen needs to sort some deal out that would see Beatrice and Eugenie become joint Queens when she passes

We already have Kate and Wills and their family

and once Lady Megbeth realised she was way down the pecking order she ran away and played her various pity cards

...struggling mental health for the younger royals...Harry, Meghan and William as well has spoken about it...has obviously been a huge thing, I would say...and when Meghan said in South Africa that she was struggling and was very open about it, in almost a ‘cry for help’, type way...it was said that it wasn’t the right time, right place etc...but a time and a place isn’t a chosen thing, that emotion from her would have just surfaced and maybe even surfaced because of the time and place etc...that could have very much been a possibility also...but it seems anyway that there wasn’t going to be a right time or place...you’re a royal now, Meghan...we don’t do that, just buckle up and hush up please..etc...

Two women of colour on the radio this morning saying its a natural discussion when your husband is white...nothing offensive about it at all.
