I also don't get the Meghan/Diana comparisons

Diana was a 18 year old child with no life experience whose husband was having an affair from the off

Meghan was a mid 30s woman with life experience and a supportive loving husband

Two completely different scenarios.

The comparison is both had problems with mental health and were not supported or helped by the Palace. It's the same thing Age doesn't really come into play with mental health, you can develop problems at any time.

It was different in that she has her husbands support though? so she was not struggling along by herself

I guess though when you are struggling it doesn't matter. Look at the number of people who have took their own lives many had loving families but felt they couldn't cope. Thankfully, I've never been in that dark of a place but people who seemingly have everything feel they have very little when they are having MH problems.. It does sound like Harry helped her through it.

Absolutely untrue. Diana had help even before she married and afterwards.
Lots of different help, all brought in from Charles and the Palace. I've read it all before, so it will be easily googled.

Bringing in doctors to throw pills at her and worry that she may have some terrible affliction that she could pass on to her children while all the time continuing the affair that had caused it all was not really all that helpful or supportive..

...this was while she was pregnant that they were told that Archie wouldn’t be a prince and have an equivalent security/protection to how she had believed/been led to believe...obviously Archie, would very much be a target as part of the Royal family...obviously I haven’t watched it all in full, just parts that are being reported...but that’s how it reads to me, it isn’t relating to their lives now in the USA, it was generally as a royal within the family in the U.K., which was their plan at the time...

That's unfair Annie. ONE doctor thought she might have an affliction.
She had help from a string of mental health professionals, just 'throwing pills at her' is an gross simplification.
I adored Diana and if they had refused her help, like Meghan claims they did with her, I would be the first to say so.

Or you could watch a woman who was in one serial TV dramas and married a Prince.

We will have to agree to disagree here Jet. The main help and support she needed was for Charles to be the husband and father she needed. Any help he got her was driven through guilt. She was sadly let down by all involved.

Oh I agree with you there - I was specifically referring to the statement that she was refused help; she certainly wasn't.
