Yup, a manufactured outrage for the purpose of giving right wingers a reason to grumble about the left wing. It's embarassing really, having to invent situations to be mad about but that's what right wing media is all about.

Incredibly so, gullible people provide clicks and the right wing's penchant for ignoring reality in favour of a more pleasing fiction is a goldmine. Look at the Russell Brand/Jonathan Ross situation from years ago, that was a broadcast that didn't create much of a backlash when it aired, only when the media reported on it in a way that inflamed the situation to what it became, they basically created a whole storyline from it except things are worse now, since you only need one or two tweets to be like 'Crazy leftists are outraged! Look at this tweet saying so from a person with 4 followers and no likes or retweets on the tweet in question!'

The right wing swallow it up, when wiser people would question the validity of the story. As long as it appeals to their confirmation bias though, the right wing doesn't care about the validity of stories, just that they tell them what they want to hear.

I get what you're saying Dezzy, and I agree with it to a certain extent.

However I do find it shocking that these opinions of hating white people (in this particular case white men) has been made more regularly recently than it would've been even as recent as 5 years ago.

The far right and far left are growing in numbers compared to what they were like in 2016, and in this particular case the far left are feeling very emboldened to keep being racist towards white people and misandrist which as I'm in both categories that the far left seem to really despise, they obviously lose me as a potential ally, as well as many other people.

But yeah the Media love to embellish how evil and insane the left are, even though for now the far left are still a minority thankfully.

I have no time for centrism.

Is this serious or not?

For me I lean more left, but I don't agree with far left ideology, it's just that simple for me.

I wouldn't vote Tory if you paid me.

I think trying to engage in critical thought and rejecting dogmatism is increasingly being seen as centrism, though, when it really has little to do with that aspect of the political spectrum.

Centrism is just a mask for self aware right wingers who don't want to be seen as such at this point. I have little time for it.

Exactly.

I actually am not a centrist, but I don't want to just agree with something just because someone from the left tells me to, that's no different to the Trump cult on the right.
