I mean she might have, but the idea is that she "met a better prospect" (than this older married man ) and so gave him the cold shoulder even as a friend, when surely the sudden distance could just as easily be explained by her getting together with Harry, and Harry privately being clear about his dislike of the UK press from the outset.
