if they want to discuss things or not ... they still have plenty opportunity outwith the funeral. Personally, i think there is a lot more behind the rift between them than is public knowledge. When Harry chose to have his own charity separate from Will's, some disagreement led to that parting, and that happened long before H & M stepped down

Most likely (although disclaimer; I obviously don't know) is that it's down to William being in line for the throne. Harry feels a lot of anger and resentment over the treatment of Diana and ending up without a mum at a very young age, William can't really afford to hold onto feelings like that because he's destined to be at the top of it all. You can see why it would lead to frustration, on both sides.

to me, the most likely reason is that Harry has someone now that says ... hey Harry, you can't let him away with that and has given him the courage to stand up for himself rather than quiet acceptance that probably happened in the past

Diana put herself in that position, one of the stupidest things was her not wearing a seatbelt if she had she would have survived

She died of a laceration of the liver

Conspiracy theories have been around for years saying she was killed on the orders of Prince Philip

It's a bit more complicated than that. Her life and the years leading up to her death were not happy ones, and she didn't end up speeding through the streets of Paris without a seatbelt on completely at random. His thinking might not be 100% spot on or logical but it's their mum and she died young, it's obviously going to be a topic with high-emotions for both Harry and William, so if it's something they don't see eye to eye on then obviously it's going to be a source of frustration.

Speak for yourself. I want a King who loves and cares enough about his family to mind very much that his brother and his wife spoke badly of them in front of millions, (and a lot of it lies too). Just because you wouldn’t mind and think yourself 'petty' for caring, doesn’t mean ‘we’ think that would make him in any way an unsuitable King. Quite the opposite.

Are people still clinging desperately to their lies that Harry and Will attacked their family? It's quite sad how people cling to fake narratives.

People are still clinging desperately to their denial that Harry and Meghan attacked his family. Or they refuse to admit it. Take your pick.

It's a shame that people can't distinguish between their own fan fiction and reality. They did not attack the royal family, they criticised the firm and were highly complimentary of the queen.

Pretending otherwise doesn't make it true, just like pretending the earth is flat doesn't change the fact that it's round or that making out that vaccines give you autism when they obviously don't. Clinging to a false narrative and desperately believing it to be true does not make it true.

And neither did Harry, but let's not let the facts get in the way of obssessive hatred.

They did, Meghan more so, pretending otherwise is full - on refusal to accept facts.

it's a shame that some people consistently find issue and fault with those that oppose their views rather than sticking to what was said by the couple
