It couldn't be called an 'interview'. It was a showcase for Meghan and Harry to tell people what they wanted them to believe, and how hard done by they were, with absolutely not one thing being their fault. Some fell for it, most didn't.

I'm hearing that Harry regrets it and didn't know Meghan was going to claim some of the things she did - and they argued about it afterwards, that hasn't been verified, but it sounds feasible enough.
