I keep seeing people in the uk repeating the us "defund" slogan. The uk police are under funded. They're certainly not over-equipped (which is what the us defund campaign is about).

the problem is youtube and social media. Noone is making look at this good policeman doing his job videos and as most kids have no clue about what police do or policework well... do the math
