It also didn't happen in a vacuum; after decades of the most popular RW newspapers and media attacking the Eu over made up nonsense, such as bendy bananas and lies about fishing and farming, Cameron brought tory austerity to attack living standards and communities, especially in the north, then they were told things were sh1t, not because of the bankers in 08, or the tory ideology, but because of a polish plumber.
