The events behind the origins of the chant are part of football legend.
It is a piss take, and shouldnt be seen as homophobic. Nor should the feelings of male prostitutes be a world wide issue. |

The chant suggests that being gay is something to laugh and joke about. That's all. I feel similarly about people using women as adjectives to describe weak men - it just isn't funny to me.
