I never liked Tom Cruise as Lestat in Interview with the Vampire. I had read the books and he was the last person I would ever have pictured as Lestat and he doesn't suit being a Vampire. Brad Pitt surprisingly fit well

I felt the same with Marlon Brando cast as The Godfather ,after reading the book i thought he was a dreadful choice and i hated the film , stupid cottton wool in his cheeks and and mumbled through all of it.
