There was a woman from Octopus energy on the news last week saying in a year or two these pumps will cost the same as a gas boiler, what I want to know is do they actually work!

Yes they Work
but those in the UK say they are not as good as Central Heating
A bloke had one on Ch4HDnews last month

If prices come down
Fitting them still is an Extra High Cost

They say they do Heat Pumps

It Takes over from Central Heating
it can match it - but is not as good.
I assume it because the central heating
is so easy to use.

On Ch4HDnews they had a new home
with that "Expensive" Heat Pumps and Outside Fan.

The Engineer that fitted it
said there are some customers that can afford it.

i was talking to my central heating guy about it. They are supposedly very good and would match what your typical boiler can do.

I think labour are missing the point really. What use is an interest free loan when the price is still 20k. It still means you have to pay 20k rather than 2k or whatever
