Actually one of the scariest things about many date rape stories, especially in Universities, is that the perp is a "conventionally attractive"/confident person who has no real issues in that area. So you have to wonder if the motivation is often not entirely sexual, but the "sport of it", or perhaps both (i.e. doing it is part of what they get off on).
