If they've been together 10 years, they were only 16 when they got together, i suppose realistically most people don't end up staying with the person they were with at 16 which is fine, he doesn't seem to be handling the situation very well though, if he wanted to "play the field" (pardon the pun) then he should have broken up with his g/f first and not messed her around like that
