If someone opens fire and kills someone, they’re considered an active shooter, granted the first person he shot apparently lunged for his gun when it was pointed at him, whatever, if people didn’t see that starting altercation happen and just saw him shoot someone, those people that chased him, by the American law, were within their rights to try and apprehend an active shooter, what this verdict says to other wannabe private vigilantes is that you can get away with murder and the self defence laws only work one way.
And that’s why the judge through out the gun charge, because you can’t legally claim self defense if you’re into the process of committing a crime, which he was by being in possession of that gun, he was always going to get off, the entire thing was balanced in his favour from the beginning
