All but one of the UK’s Eurovision Winners have had prior hits and won during their prime - Lulu, Sandie Shaw, Brotherhood of Man, and Katrina .
If we send nobodies who have had no prior hits, or older pop stars (I think we did like Engelbert Humperdinck and Bonnie Tyler one year?) of course we’re not going to win.
