To be fair schools here (currently, and at the very least, as far back as when I started school in 1990 ) call teachers Mr/Miss/Mrs Smith etc. which I much prefer to the old fashioned/authoritarian-flavoured "Sir/Miss".

I don't know what they're suppised to do if neither is an option though . "Shazza". "Bob"
