On the subject of foreigners in wars, hasn't anyone heard of the International Brigade? Google how many nationalities were involved in the Battle of Britain. Some Americans, Canadians and Aussies were here fighting for us as soon as WW2 kicked off and a couple of years before the USA joined in. I have no doubt that there are ex-service personnel making their way to Ukraine right now, and some are there already. It happens every time there is a conflict and it always has.
