i mentioned chain of custody, because it is extremely important in this case. The laptop was obtained in a repair shop, and then passed around numerous other parties. People could have messed with the laptops content at any time. Without a proper chain of custody directly between the laptop being in hunters possession and the investigating authorities, it's all complete bollocks
