I think William and Kate are excellent role models, but I suppose dignity and dedicating your life to duty and service and doing loads of charity work and creating foundations isn’t what the youth admire, (and a few much older folk too, it seems.)
Vacuous, virtue signalling “mememe, look at wonderful meeeee!!!” all talk and little action celebs fit the bill better.
