The one that even gives me the most beef is the black people who criticise certain festivals for being too white but coconut/Oreo the hell out of black people who do choose to listen to the type of music most-stanned at those places, even when it’s not actually at the expense of R&B/hip-hop.
As far as I can tell this is just a demographic-preference thingy. If you like, go and listen to Manic Street Preachers and James Blunt. If you don’t like, go to Oye or down Spotify R&B-lane instead. In that sense England’s a totally free country.
