Well he didn't quite thrash him, apart from the third set.

Going into the US Open Norrie will need to get better at serving aces, especially if he wants to make a Grand Slam final.

But regardless he has had a fantastic tournament, and he did have Djokovic on the ropes in the first set, which going into the tournament nobody would've predicted that Norrie was gonna even do that well, let alone being competitive with Djokovic.

Cameron Norrie is not mediocre player ~ He did well gettng to semi's.

I hope Djokovic gets thrashed in the final. whatever happens it will be a good match.

Isn't Norrie also the world number 12? I agree with you that he is clearly a very good player, he just isn't good enough to compete with an exceptional player like Djokovic.
