Well it depends on how much support the Tories have lost with the general public.

Today Live he claims many Conservatives will vote with him like the 50 who resigned? He did a Rushed Meeting as he was cleared from Durham Police some newspapers not there at the Live TV press talk Last edited by arista; 08-07-2022 at 01:55 PM. |

Hardly surprising.
There won't be one though. Of course had The Cons been a good number of points ahead in polls then I could have seen Johnson even in the midst of all his scandalous behaviour calling one. However Labour really has to put much more detail yet to their policies. Not present just hopes. Last edited by joeysteele; 08-07-2022 at 02:19 PM. |

it's completely unrealistic that any tory would vote to put themselves out of government. It's a publicity stunt by labour

This isn't the best idea. However, it will show to the Country at large, just in fact where all the opposition parties are too. Plus since the Cons have themselves stated no confidence in Johnson, and while it will be easily defeated, to voters, it could demonstrate the problems with this current Conservative party. Because in effect the Cons will also be voting to leave this now shamefully disgraced Johnson in place despite them pulling ALL support away from him. Albeit left in place for a possible 2 to 3 months. Really the 1922 committee should look for how to remove this creep from being Prime Minister NOW and having a more acceptable transitional administrator PM in place until the new leader is elected. It will actually help expose further the internal despair in the Cons at present and their continued failure to remove this charletan and lawbreaker at a stroke. |

at the moment the tory party is absolutely stuffed, i don't blame opposition parties for sticking the boot in, they deserve it.
The tories have 2 years to sort themselves out during a cost of living nightmare, they are going to have to be very caring toward the voting public or else they will get wiped out |

Not really. This PM is disgraced for deceit and lies. No other PM has acted in power like this one has by abusing his trust even to lawbreaking. It's not normal at all. He should be gone NOW. Every day he stays in any form of being Prime Minister just adds to the disgrace he's brought to the trusted elected office of being so. |

there is no constitutional method to remove a prime minister, no-one in the country has that power and labour know it very well. All they have is a vote of no confidence in the government, not specifically the PM
