It does sound like this is the end, you don't rush the whole family up there if this is something she is likely to 'recover' from

The period of mourning will be weird, guess all the weekends football will be called off which is annoying

I agree, the main informative thing from this news is the advised gathering of now it seems all of immediate family

I know someone whose grandad had a heart attack at the age of 87 and he went to hospital.

Doctors said he had another two heart attacks over the next day. An operation or treatment couldn't be performed as he was too elderly, frail and would die during the operation anyway.

So he was given mophine to make him comfortable but he wasn't told he was going to die. The morphine made he feel okay but he was very ill.


He died the next day.

I was reading through that thinking you were going to say at the end that he made a miraculous recovery
