I would once there however have queued as long as it took.
I just had the compelling feeling to go.

I don't get this not joining the queue until it reduces.
What IF it doesn't reduce in length.

Just the other day you had politicians and authorities stating they expected absolutely innumerable numbers of people coming.
They were even talking of anything from a few hours to up to over 24 hours being in the queue.

Where do the people go who have come to join the queue then told to come back later?
What if the queue doesn't get less, I thought myself as the weekend progressed even more would come and be travelling from all over the Country and other Countries too.

If you head too far off from the end of the queue, then come back, you're likely not going to be in the position you may have had if you'd been able to join it when first arriving.

There could have potentially been millions wanting to queue.
Crikey can we not even organise something like this better.

What happens then to those there now, told they cannot join this queue.

Kazanne it was really moving.
I'm still gathering the feelings I felt in that Hall.

The silence hit you the instant you were in.

i remember before the lying in state began a government spokesperson saying the queue could be 30 hours which would mean that anyone not queuing by tomorrow lunchtime would miss out

A Chinese government delegation has been banned from attending the lying-in-state of Queen Elizabeth II, the BBC understands.

House of Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle is understood to have refused a request for access to Westminster Hall over Chinese sanctions against five MPs and two peers.

Queen Elizabeth will lie in state until her funeral on Monday.

The Speaker's office told the BBC it did not comment on security matters.

A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said they had not seen a reports about the ban, which first emerged on the Politico website.

"As a host, the UK is certainly familiar with diplomatic protocols and proper manners of receiving guests," China's foreign ministry spokesperson, Mao Ning, said.

Last year, China imposed travel bans and asset freezes on nine Britons - including seven parliamentarians - for accusing Beijing of mistreating Uighur Muslims.
