Lmao, older woman doesn’t fawn over younger woman and she’s automatically bitter and jealous of the young pretty woman, it’s painfully sad to see how toxic women are towards eachother

Surely you've noticed Shirley's harsher towards female contestants on average?

I'm not even a Fleur fan, but I'm willing to bet that if she delivered the routine that James delivered last week that Shirley wouldn't have been so kind about the dance.

And tbf she's softer towards Tony as well.

Paint it however you want, but it's obvious Shirley is Bias as hell. She should not be the head judge . Fleur is an amazing dancer , scoring her on the same level as the terrible dancers is just insulting .

Exactly ,which shows she ISN'T a fair judge . And she shouldn't be favouring anyone re: gender or who she fancied. It's so obvious what she's doing. Not even Len was that shockingly bias, and he had some messy odd moments himself.

I mean tbf to all of the judges they'll all have their preferences in who they like and don't like, just like all of us as viewers also have our preferences, there is nothing wrong with that in itself imo.

Where Shirley does cross the line and I'm with you on this, is when she'll score a Fleur contestant the same as a Tony, Matt or James, and Hamza's not a great dancer either.

And I know that some of her fans on DS try to defend her by saying "she judges the individual contestant against their previous performances" which I get that to an extent, but overall Shirley is supposed to give the better dancer the better score on the night, otherwise it makes the leaderboard redundant.

Plus how was Richie's basic routine better than Fleur's more advanced routine? They both had flaws in their dancing so Shirley's argument against Fleur doesn't even hold up in the dance-off.

However tbf to Shirley, my biggest question to all of the judges is why was Tony below Ellie T, Matt & Hamza on the leaderboard when he at least put on a performance for the crowd, the other three just delivered stiff performances without even putting on a big show.

James also deserves the same defence as Tony tbf as well, his performance at least stoodout.

because Tony is a troll act, he will never ever get high scores, he can better just give up

Tbf being serious for a second as a Tony fan.

I can honestly understand him being low on the leaderboard because he isn't technically a great dancer, however I honestly believe that in weeks 2 & 3 that he has outperformed Matt & Ellie T, arguably James as well, and definitely outperformed Hamza in week 3 imo.

I get that some people won't agree with me on that, but I do think that Tony is harshly scored compared to some of the other contestants imo.

I understand judges will have a preference over who they like, but they still have to be fair & professional and judge it on merit and performance. I've said this a few times .. but I'm so glad I don't watch the main show ,as I can't stand the bias & confusing
inconsistent scoring .

And yeah the viewers will always have their favourites of course, as some celebrities are just more likable than others . Kim & Helen have that likeability where I can't help but smile when I see them perform . Tyler and Hamza have that aswell , although Tyler is a better dancer than Hamza.

I don't support Tony ,I know people find him entertainment, but I found his full monty routine cringe. Tbf I think his Charleston was probably his best dance so far . But he's still clearly the joke act.

Richie was the joke act aswell, and was stitched up with that ridiculous furry costume . You can tell when producers are taking the Mickey.

I cannot get behind Matt as he looks like he doesn't want to be there ,and he always comes across really stuff .

James' performance last week was so clumsy for me ,and again I'm not a fan .

Just imagine if Len back in the day gushed & favoured all the women & highly scored them ,it still would be unfair. He was actually a more fair judge than Shirley. And Len use to get on my nerves still. So it just shows how much worse Shirley actually IS.

Oh I agree with you that the judges should be judging more on merit and performance than they are imo.

Ironically Helen is someone that I haven't connected with so far, I find that her dances are forgettable after she's performed imo, obviously she's not the worst dancer from a technical perspective, I just find her performances a bit dull.

Fair enough on Tony and James, they're not the greatest dancers in the competition so I get why you wouldn't like them.

Yeah I had issues with Len as well, but he is a god send compared to some of Shirley's antics.
