Well if the BBC had an ounce of concern..... sorry I couldn't say that line without laughing,as we all know the BBC doesn't give a damn . If anything they probably encourage this type of toxic media garbage.

If strictly and the BBC cared ,then they'd defend the contestants from all this , Fleur was left in the cold when that silly headline about a fall was printed. All these reality shows care about is the ratings. So yeah it's exactly like xf and tbh I think Strictly has been like xf for quite a few years now .

Shirley was on Sunday Brunch this morning,I instantly switched the channel when she was being interviewed .

Can't stand the woman, and I don't want to hear about how excited she gets over her favourite contestants . She needs to take a very cold shower .

She annoys me so much. So patronising, especially to the female contestants

That's why I don't watch the main , I don't want to get graphic.... but it sounds like she's sex mad when she sees the blokes.

I feel so sorry for Molly & Fleur busting a gut each week to please Shirley, who is probably jealous of them anyway .. unbelievable really .

I actually want Len back ,he had his faults but even he was more fair LOL .

It's sad though as it'll be the death of Strictly just like it was for The X Factor.

Even more so for Strictly because it's meant to be a fun Show, not BB where you're dissecting every aspect of a contestant.

I think they'll still keep churning out Strictly no matter what .

XF probably had a bigger backlash ,as it was average people's lives being played with like a game of chess . Both situations are bad . But like you say Strictly is more about being fun ,whereas XF is about being wanting their life & career changed.

That's a fair point.

Especially looking back on it, Katie Waissel and Misha B were horrendously treated by the Show for just wanting a Music career.

Like I said it still doesn't make it ok to drag a celeb's name through the mud ,all for drama & ratings but at least they have their career made already usually. And they can pick themselves up, and dust themselves off again....it will still affect them sure ,but there's more support & stability.

Whereas with XF you could instantly fail and be back struggling financially as everything goes sour , if you're not popular or successful then that's it . So many have lost their confidence and been treated badly and dropped by the record label. It's a brutal thing. So I'm glad XF got axed ,it was far too manipulative & corrupt in the end .

I agree with you 100% on everything you've said, especially about how cruel TXF was.

For me I want a Talent Show that at least tries to support their contestants, it's always the one area where Strictly used to beat TXF by a mile, but nowadays it's still ahead for morality, but it's getting closer which I don't like.

don't care myself too much as i still would have lets dance begin of each year

and also lols how in germany there is no negativity whatsoever in their media's, from their viewers (although only thing what gets criticism, favouritism of the Lusin's by production, but not from everyone as they are also quite popular)
