they have just been elected though, so they will be feeling very emboldened

It's true that high profile result deniers didn't get elected but an awful lot did, including a qanon supporter

To provide a bit of further context, the media and the dems are publicising the results in swing elections where the results were in doubt and saying democracy won, but most seats are safe and the incumbent gets re-elected easily. Those are the majority and those are also where the majority are happy to dispense with democracy and deny election results
