For the benefit of impartiality, I think Kate is fabulous - and in no way deserves any such comments - but I also don't think that level of vitriol should be leveled at anybody.

100% agree with everything you put in that post Annie. It's not even just about who the comments were directed at, it's the fact that they were directed at any woman (and yes LT I would have an issue with such comments directed at Katie Hopkins too as much as I dislike her) The whole thing is just so degrading and misogynistic and as you say the fact that the paper allowed these comments to be printed at all is revolting
