Sorry, but someone on a level like Clarkson would most definitely be in contact with the editor, he’s not just any random columnist, it would have definitely been looked over knowing that some people will get that paper specifically for his column, I think it’s a definite insight at how low the bar is for ‘journalism’ for rags like the sun

Maybe so, they probably just think everyone will be OK with it because it's Meghan. Which is really gross. I do hope it's made at least some people think maybe they do have a point about how bad the media have been towards her.

That's fine and the Sun is a load of crap, but forgetting Clarkson and the Sun, you can easily judge Meghan for what she actually says. She's gone on record saying so much, i have no doubt people have said stuff about her that isn't true, but she's had plenty to say herself on a wide range of topics. I base my dislike of her on her own hypocrisy, her non stop complaining about her "disadvantaged" life. I just find both of them so insulting and condescending.

I don't think she's ever said her life is disadvantaged, has she? (in a monetary sense) Regardless, even is she has nothing she's said has been bad enough to warrant the real disgusting hatred and vile comments about her

Do you have many examples of these? I have come across very few indeed that could be classed as such. Mostly I read valid opinions about her own behaviour and her own words which she puts out there herself for scrutiny like any other celebrity who is in the spotlight.

Well I mean an example is the one this thread is about but off the top of my head, the British tabloids saying she was "straight out of Compton" and calling her a gangster, absolutely racially motivated which is vile. Tabloids critising her for holding her pregnant belly "for attention" her destroying the planet because she like avocado on toast. That picture of the monkey after Archie was born. Disgusting. I've read really gross things in comments sections on FB articles and twitter as well

I don’t know if you are aware of the reporting of Diana, Sophie, Fergie, Kate and Camilla when they were the latest Royal women. In those early days, they got it every bit as much as Meghan did, from the likes of the Sun and the Mirror.

Fergie was branded ‘The Duchess of Pork’ and ‘The Dumpy Duchess’ because she wasn’t as slim as Diana; they pitted the 2 against each other, mercilessly criticising Fergie’s clothes and hair and ‘uncouth’ personality compared to the perfect Diana. They pitted Sophie against Diana too, her clothes, her ‘chunky farm girls legs’.
Kate was constantly sneered at for ‘waiting around’ for William to propose, Kate’s parents were mocked because they came from miner’s stock and her mother was an air hostess - there were many snide jokes about the ‘commoners’.
On top of that, they were all harassed terribly by paps whenever they were out on private time. That NEVER happened to Meghan, despite the Netflix docu deceiving viewers into thinking she was.

Of course it doesn’t. I’m pointing out that Meghan wasn’t being singled out to be ‘picked on’.
It’s ALL disgusting - as is the claim by several young women employed by the Sussexes that they were left traumatised by Meghan’s bullying and can’t speak out properly because they signed NDA’s. The fact that they lost 12 staff in 18 months gives credence to the claims.
