I explained the link, I specifically did not justify it. And if it's not about acceptable signatures then it's, somewhat ironically, just a petty dogwhistle.

I don't really care about that in all fairness, dogwhistling can be fun but this is over the line for me. If you're OK with leveraging a case involving the rape, torture and murder of a 10 year old girl to make a point about the unfair treatment of an adult man, I'll leave that to your own internal justification.
