I <3 Amber, My dream wife
|
having been working in our garden again a lot, more soil, less pebbles (we made a nice little ''mountain'' like thing in the back of our garden, for some sempervivums, and not to throw anything away but re-using pebbles for something else)
i got a new plant, Agapanthus Africanus, seems really lovely, also can survive winters, but am mainly liking it for the shape of its many flowers, and a bee-friendly plant too, also a must for me, something what is good for the bees, butterflies also going for the edible flower seeds too same as last year but a little different, instead of poppies, going for nasturtiums which look similar, and also hollyhocks which are amazing for some height in your garden ![]() as for my vegetable garden lettuce, since that is soooo easy to grow chard, because of variety in colours they come in, red/orange/yellow carrots, also fairly easy to grow in terms of fruit trees we got quite a lot of plums, a new Morell cherry, elstar apple we got a quite wet area at our seating area, the soil behind our bench, so we decided to go for cobbler plants (Bergenia) since they grow well in moist soil too in terms of rainfall, we cannot complain this year, sooo much rain and snow what turned into water automatically too for nature over here i'm gonna laugh if there is complaints over droughts this summer tbh
