As for the down syndrome doll , I think there was another kids character / doll that was supposed to be down syndrome....but they just looked the same as the others so it was confusing.

As for the new Barbie .... She doesn't look like she has down syndrome ,but if it makes Ellie feel represented then that's nice for her.
