if Man U re-instate Greenwood, they will regret it. I've been a Man U supporter for more than 50 years and I will stop supporting them if they don't ditch greenwood. Man U have vastly underestimated the strength of feeling against greenwood.

We all have thresholds for what we will accept, and certainly for me, this is a red line

The thought is that they’ve decided to give him another chance as the playing staff want to keep him even though their women’s team are apparently against that idea .. last night Rachel Riley one of their celeb fans made her thoughts public.

They are apparently gonna wait until after the women’s final on Sunday to make the official announcement but I think they may regret delaying it as I expect lots of protests to surface in the coming days .

I think they thought because he is back with the girl who accused him and is having a baby and all charges were dropped that the strength of feeling would diminish given time. However, even though she actually tried to drop it as soon as she made the allegations - we all heard the tape and most people with any morals will not accept the sexual aggression he displayed and so this will not go away. It will be probably one of the only times home and away fans abuse the same player if he ever steps foot on a pitch in this country again.

I didn't know she was pregnant, it will all end in tears as he wont have changed

i think the backlash will be huge. Football uses all these slogans, like be kind, equality for all etc etc and yet here we have a football club that is condoning abusive behaviour
