And not as fake and shallow as Love Island.
So basically yes I miss The X Factor, it had some good singers and iconic performances over the years (good & bad) and I would take it a million times over most of the newer seasons of Reality TV Shows.
I mean even Strictly has been **** the last couple of years.

Strictly has one or two stars I’m a fan of/familiar with (Nigel Harman, Bobby Brazier) so I’m probably just going to tune into it this year and hope for the best. I’ve gotten to the point where I genuinely want to care when people talk to me about Strictly and how it’s the highlight of their Saturday night. To me there’s always a void that needs to be filled for everyone by some sort of entertainment and weekend TV that’s actually good helps people get through Sundays and quiet Saturdays. That’s why part of me feels like they should’ve kept screening Corrie and Emmerdale on Sunday evenings. Those two soaps are over-saturated in number of episodes these days but again it’s just about having a certain something to look forward to throughout the weekends, and a lot of people really love their soaps. Sunday TV never used to be as crap as it is now.
