1. Stopping small Actors from getting work. 2. It destroys a portion of the title of the story. 3. The idea of the "Bandits" that I've heard the remake is going for sounds more like a bunch of Robin Hood's than the meant to be comedic Dwarves. And obviously there is the Snow White raceswapping stuff, which again for this particular Movie hurts the narrative of the story. Yesterday I was having a debate with my Brother about franchises dramatically changing expectations and how I personally never support drastic changes, don't get me wrong I get that it's a remake so it therefore has more room for experimentation, but it should never be at the expense of the core narrative. Because I say this as well because even though I have never watched the Animated Snow White Movie myself, I know that it's not meant to be whatever this remake is trying to be. And look I get that they do have to modernize it from the 1930's Animated Movie, but like any changes it should be complimentary to the series, not a show destroyer. Snow White at it's heart is meant to be a Kids Fairy Tale story with some Comedy from the Dwarves thrown in (none of this height diverse cringe that Disney tried to spout for those roles) and a bit of Romance/true love wins out messaging. Tbf to Disney and Snow White, they're not the only ones doing drastic changes to their works, just look at the Video Game industry with Uncharted 4, Resident Evil & Yakuza 7, all of these series started out very different to how their finishing off.
