Folks will argue that's how it's meant to be with the Royals; but we know Charles' opinions all too well, and William's, and Harry's... they're allowed opinions.

Kate doesn't voice an opinion and remains the darling of the crownhumpers. Meghan had a few too many opinions and was effectively exiled for her crimes. And then there was poor Diana... well.

And before we start down the "The main Royals can have opinions the spouses are just there for support" line... "Beloved" Liz never voiced an opinion in her entire half century on the throne. Philip on the other hand was a whooole bundle of them.

I wonder if there's a pattern .
