It is also on Netflix for anyone that's interested.
Now quality wise I'll start with the pro's of the Anime.
Pros:
Good Music, in particular the OP from Franz Ferdinand, but the Music in general was good, so fair play to them on that.
An interesting looking world, it's well designed, I could imagine that it would make for a good City to explore in the Video Game.
The characters were okay, nothing special, but they weren't abysmal.
Episode 3 was a fun stand alone episode imo.
Cons:
Tbh there was only really real issue that I had with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, but it was big enough to make me drop the Show after 4 episodes because I weren't going to waste my time, and that's the fact that the story was barely existent, there's a 10 episode Season and to me it felt like the first two episodes were mostly filler with one major event happening in the pilot, but the rest of the episode was filler, episode 2 was filler for the most part away from the introduction of the leading lady (which admittedly stops it from being complete filler) but nothing else really happens away from that.
Episode 3 was a good stand alone episode tbf with a fun team effort to infiltrate the bad guys type of stuff.
And episode 4 tbf was better than episodes 1 & 2, but I'm not really much of a shipper, so it wasn't really for me.
Tbf to the Anime I have watched much worse in Anime and Live Action, but it was like watching a 5/10 Anime for me, and life is too short to be watching such average content in my view.

Play the game mock

Whilst not essential I think it helps somewhat with appreciating the show more just because you already have an attachment and understanding of the world it's set in. Although it's kind of crazy that a big part of the games second lease of life came from this anime, between that and CD Projekt Red actually fixing the bugs and not just abandoning it like most game developers would these days.
