What's your "And?" to this? That Palestine shouldn't be free because their current cultural and societal views are radically different to your own? That protesting against historical systematic oppression should only be done for tribes at a certain benchmark of societal evolution?

Granted I'm a layman who only dabbles in history, but a cursory glance at it would tell you that when people are engaged in a literal existential struggle, it's not fertile soil for much of any other kind of major overhauls to their way of life.

It's reductive, sneering discourse peddled by arch cynics who've driven up their own arses to build camp out of a cul-de-sac. The giveaway is that you could still word that point the exact same had Hamas never fired a rocket. You could deliver it with the same rotten sentiment, so it deserves to stand alone and be taken apart alone, on its own merit.
