Is your contention that you were saying that you thought the tube driver was creating a public safety issue because ... he was distracted and should have been concentrating on pressing the "go" button on the train? If so I apologise (but entirely disagree with the idea that that presents any sort of safety issue, lol) HOWEVER I assumed you considered it to be an issue of public safety because it might create an unsafe environment/civil unrest amongst those listening.

Which you seemed unconcerned about with the bulletin board; while the police were concerned.

Perhaps I have it wrong and you really were commenting on ... err ... the tube train driver's ability to speak whilst driving a train, which might cause ... I don't know. Him to forget where the brakes are or something?

You must really freak out when the pilot starts talking on flights .

I said it earlier on the thread, although you have had a shocker today given you didnt know the Mayor is responsible for TFL, thought you knew everything... my point was and still is that the driver was at his day job, and part of that job is being responsible for the safety and comfort of everyone on the train, starting a political chant is not the best way to ensure passengers have a comfortable journey, everyone pays their fare and everyone should be treated to a comfortable journey without having to endure chanting, particularly at such a sensitive time, if drivers were chanting football songs down the tannoy every weekend I am sure there would be people withi plenty issues with it...this is no different.
