However, I've still been unable to find anything at all that suggests that the dog was dragged on purpose in the first place, rather than through negligence. Being accurate is quite important; injuring the dog in an accident and then failing to get it proper attention makes him a horrible arsehole. Delierately tying it to a car and driving off would make him a psychopath. I don't think there's any indication that that's what happened though.
