I'm sure we all know by now that there are psychos out there who'll be annoyed that help is being given by the wrong people. We also know that plenty of activists get pissy when people step on their toes and provide more help in a few days than they do in years.
The latter I can understand - I don't know much about Mr Beast, I've seen a fair few video suggestions of him helping people though. This water thing will be one of many things for him, rather than something to which he's devoting his life. "Where will you be tomorrow?" etc BUT it's still pathetic for people to complain that anyone did something like that.

The issue with Mr Beast is that he (openly) is not an altruist; he spends vast amounts of money on things because doing so increases his reach and earns him even more money. Ultimately of course it's a good thing for people to be helped, but I can see why it feels a bit exploitative. No different to any other money-grubbing charity of course ... and that's most of them.
