It’s still a good rating. Who thought BB would be getting over a million in overnights again and we’ve had 3 in the last few weeks. The official average is going to be roughly 2 million compared to BB19’s 1.07.

It’s also beat MAFS twice this week and last night it was up against Gogglebox so I’m sure that damaged it.

Thursday was 870k apparently but this week has rated highly overall.

It has rated well overall yeah, I thought this eviction would be really highly anticipated though and do just as well if not better than last week

The current official average is 1.81 but the last few weeks have seen a big increase in overnights with 3 episodes hitting over a million and most this week hitting almost a million. With devices added apparently that should increase by 200/400k.

I’m usually critical of ratings but this has been a successful series.

Fair enough, hopefully ITV are happy with it and can grow it next series. Really hope the civilian BB doesn't become an afterthought now they're bringing back CBB

1. Over 920,000 for the overnights average for the series so far.

and 2. Ratings are not going to haemorrhage just because of 1 of the fan favourites leaving.

Yes, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s actually pretty good considering that we’re now in the final week of BB20.

I think it should stick to ITV2 but if showing it on ITV1 brings in more new fans then I am all for it. Where do the ratings even get published?

1. I agree, they're trying to focus on the 16-34 demographic so ITV2 is the right place (and its doing well as well) 2. thinkbox

Small drop off on some days but increases on others thanks to evictions. Been remarkably consistent overall

Big Brother still has life in it. I get so fed up of seeing its success based on ratings compared to how it fared back in the day. It’s been around for 24 years now. People also don’t watch TV like they used to. It’s extremely impressive.
