One difference that Owen Jones fails to mention (probably because it kills his argument) is that Ukraine never started attacking innocent Russians during what was meant to be a ceasefire, Russia started that conflict on every single level that you can think of.
Mind you that doesn't excuse Israel's own atrocities during this conflict, but Owen Jones is being slightly disingenuous imo.
