No it doesn't excuse it, but it has been a repeated pattern happening the other way for a long, long time. Children are regularly taken off the streets and put in Israeli prisons to be tortured, and yet the world (minus the global south) has been excusing all of this Israeli oppression for decades. You won't even acknowledge that reality.
