My favourite Gene Wilder film is definitely See No Evil, Hear No Evil.

His character is deaf, and friends with a blind man (played by Richard Pryor) who together "witness" a murder, and get all tangled up with the police, and gangsters

Liv has asked me to post her calendar entry as she is away with work. Here it is.



Tonight at sundown is the start of Hanukkah and we'll light the first candle on the Menorah. And Hanukkah kind of trumps Christmas as we get presents for eight nights. *smug*

Whether we are friends or not I wish everyone here, and all those who they hold dear, whether they're with you in body or in spirit, a happy and peaceful time in the run up to Christmas. And when it gets here, have a wonderful time.

So very nice I had a Jewish BFF growing up when we were all wee teeny boppers.. and yes, she was very smug this time of the year (in a good way, we were all excitedly jealous and pumped for Christmas and exchanging the differences and such). Honestly the idea of no gift-giving/sharing of joy, colors and music towards the end of the year, especially during the winter time, seems so wrong without...

Wishing you a good run up to the end of the year and into the next, Liv, and that you and your family continue to be safe.
