Next, here's a Christmas poem narrated on YouTube that I found, it's very good. Please listen to it in its entirety, the ending is sweet.
And here's my message.....written from the heart.
Merry Christmas Tibbfolk. It has not been a year in which I've exactly covered myself in Glory. For those who don't know, I developed a gambling addiction which included stealing money from my boyfriend to my eternal shame. I also considered cheating with an ex, but thankfully his morals were stronger than mine and nothing happened. I was at a very low ebb. My relationship disintegrated to the point that my boyfriend asked me to move out, but with time he forgave me, for which I will be eternally grateful as hell. Words can't express it.
Anyway, I confided in Tibb and I'm humbled by the supportive responses I got, only a couple of people were negative which is of course their prerogative. No word of a lie, it was all of you that got me through it, and I had some pretty dark days. I thank you all collectively from the bottom of my heart.
Good things about 2023 now. I have lost 2 dress sizes, am eating much more healthily, have quit alcohol almost entirely, just the occasional tipple. I met Tibbs lovely Vanessa in November, we spent a couple of days in Blackpool and had a great time. A good experience. I hope to repeat it next year, this time in the Spring or Summer.
Tibb is such a great community, I don't know what I'd do without you all. Quick namecheck thank you to James for taking it over and ensuring its survival, with much appreciation.
I'll now hand over to our lovely Zizu, who is ready to post us all some more Christmas songs to enjoy.
Merry Christmas. I love you all.
