January is the worst time to be making signings because good players are overpriced and a lot of clubs won’t let them go so easily, especially if they’re necessary for their respective club and anyone we get on loan is for only one reason, they’re not good enough for the first team they’re currently at. It's always a shame when you have to kind of grind through a season with ordinary players throughout most of the squad (we've been like this for over a decade) so I feel your pain on that one.
And if your Manager does end up getting the sack who would you like to replace him?
