I won't be buying an electric car because I don't believe in the climax hoax.
Most people don't buy electric cars. They loan them, so they can hand them back when the batteries run down.
I've heard that its as expensive to change the batteries on an electric car, as it is to buy a new electric car and that's why second hand electric cars are very difficult to sell.
