…when we think about it, it isn’t such a strange thought in that movie are what we all watch at times for ‘feel good’ reasons…and horror movies are great at finding emotional balance in that no matter what sort of bad day we’ve had and however sorry we might feel for ourselves etc…?…at least we didn’t get hacked to pieces like those poor young people on the screen who had so many bad days ahead of them to look forward to…so they help us find that balance again……I’m probably overthinking that all a bit but yeah, it does actually make sense what you say….
